A Crazy Hair Day will take place for all our pupils this Wednesday 15th February and we’ll be encouraging everyone INCLUDING TEACHERS to have fun with wigs, hats, scarfs and headbands or anything you want to make your hair as crazy as you can make it for one fun day!

If people would like to donate, we will be fundraising for The Hope Foundation and would encourage people to donate €2 if you can.

Keshia Murphy is a transition year student at Bandon Grammar School but she’s also a proud past pupil of St. Mary’s Central School. Keshia has committed to fundraising for The Hope Foundation as a participant in their School Immersion Programme and if she manages to reach a certain fundraising target, she will be fortunate enough to travel to Kolkata, India with The HOPE Foundation in the Spring of this year and see first-hand the work they do with street and slum children. The Hope Foundation is a registered Irish charity (CHY 13237). The HOPE Foundations’ work is essential in the steps of bettering people’s quality of life and ensuring their basic rights and increasing their sense of self-worth through sustainable approaches to protection, health, education, and economic growth.
