Bravo to everyone for your true blue support yesterday for our awareness and fundraising day in aid of Diabetes Ireland! It was a fantastically supported event and many thanks to all of you for your very generous donations. The total amount fundraised was a whopping €535!
Assisted by Rufus (the bear with diabetes), David in 2nd class shared with us his own personal journey of living with diabetes and he kindly demonstrated and explained the various pieces of medical equipment which, along with carefully managed routines enable him to live a full, fun and healthy life! Well done David!
