A huge thank you to Séamus Coakley for a brilliant and captivating visit to our 5th and 6th classes!
Séamus treated the pupils to a fascinating journey into local history, drawing from his recently published book Troubled Times in Behagh, which shines a light on the often untold stories of the War of Independence in the Behagh and Dunmanway areas.
The talk truly brought history to life, especially when Séamus shared authentic artefacts from the era, giving pupils a real sense of what life was like during that time. It was an inspiring and memorable experience for all involved.
