Meeting an author in the flesh and hearing them talk about their experiences and work can really open up the world of stories and reading and inspire pupils to have a go themselves. Our 4th class pupils visited Bandon Library and had a fantastic time meeting and chatting with renowned children’s author Caroline Busher! Caroline is the Irish Times best-selling and book award nominated author of “The Ghosts of Magnificent Children,” “The Girl Who Ate The Stars”, “The Legend of Valentine Sorrow”, “The Spectacular Library of Magical Things” and “The Irish Women’s Suffrage Movement”.
